Roadmap of a Digital Hospital to be made at the U-NOVUS forum

The participants of SSMU workshop at the forum of new solutions U-NOVUS will draw out a roadmap to implement the project of Digital Hospital in the Tomsk region. The specialists will complete the path from general description to specific roadmap in three days.

The workshop will see the speeches from the heads of SSMU clinics, scientists, doctors, project leaders in the relevant field. The participants of the sessions are representatives from IT, pharmaceutical and insurance companies, private clinics, Ministry of Healthcare, as well as specialists in data processing and design, around one hundred people in total. The workshop is co-organized by the fund “Center for strategic development North-West”.

Over three days, the participants will develop the strategy to implement the project in the Tomsk region, assemble the primary design portfolio and the extended roadmap, identify the possible obstacles and the ways to avoid them, and identify the potential partners.

The Digital Hospital project stipulates a comprehensive optimization and digitization of medical processes, resulting in the fact that one platform will unite the best science-and-technology, educational and clinical solutions. The project aims to create the first in Russia site to develop digital medical technology using the premises of SSMU clinics, where the scientists will search for optimal solutions to improve patients’ safety, treatment efficiency, the speed of decision making, the quality of remote health supervision, optimize the use of resources in a medical institution.

Implementation of the working model of a Digital hospital integrated in practical healthcare in the Tomsk region will allow for replication of this practice in other Russian regions and will improve the quality of hi-tech healthcare and make unique technology closer to the patient.

The forum of new solutions U-NOVUS – 2018 will take place in Tomsk on October 10-13 within the frameworks of implementation of the pilot region model under the Strategy for Scientific and Technology Development of Russia (SSTD). The program combines a series of workshops and design-sessions, aimed at solving applied problems of the leading companies corresponding to the agenda of SSTD and the Digital economy program. Each workshop is organized by a large company. The main topics are industrial digitization, smart materials, digital hospital, smart city, knowledge management, science & art. The participants and the guests will also see technology demo-areas, a scientific stand-up show, a techno play, open lectures of visionaries and networking sessions.
