Doctors of SibMed clinics removed a gigantic tumor

Doctors of the SibMed Gynecology Hospital operated on a patient with a gigantic tumor. A 79-year-old resident of Tomsk called an emergency and was brought to SibMed clinics with crushing pain in the stomach. Upon examination, she was diagnosed with a benign cystoma. The case was complicated since the patient had a stroke as an accompanying condition.

 “A huge tumor (35 cm in size) spread throughout the entire stomach. The surgery took 40 minutes. The patient was discharged from hospital six days after the operation. The rehabilitation was successful and the patient feels good,” said Konstantin Kublinsky, gynecologist with the highest qualification category of the SibMed Gynecology Hospital.
