A conference for international students studying within the bilingual educational program took place in SibMed
A closing conference for international students studying within the bilingual educational program was held at the Microbiology and Virology Division of SibMed.
This year the students discussed the main aspects of HIV-infection, which is not only one of the main healthcare problems in their home countries but is a topical issue for Russia as well.
The students prepared well-structured presentations that sparked lively discussions.
Fatoke Babatunde, a 3rd-year student of SibMed, took part in the conference as a guest speaker. He presented a report about tuberculosis developing against the background of HIV-infection.
At the end of the conference, three best presentations were selected:
1st place – Mathambo Hlonipiso
2nd place – Chitake Tafadzwa
3rd place – Odunowo Ayobami Olabisi
