Organization

Siberian State Medical University (SibMed) is managed by the Rector, the Rector’s Office and the Academic Council. The Rector’s Office performs day-to-day University management in different fields. SibMed consists of 6 departments, 63 divisions and several service centers.

The Academic Council is representative body, elected every 5 years by the University community, namely teaching staff, research body, students and other employees. Academic Council meetings are held on monthly basis and it is chaired by the University Rector. The aim of the Council is to address scientific and academic issues and discuss the strategic development of the University.
