Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko thanked SibMed volunteers for their contribution in fight against COVID-19

Medical volunteers of Siberian State Medical University received letters of gratitude from Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.

At the end of 2021, Tomsk Regional Department of medical volunteers was recognized as the best regional department of "Medical volunteers" in the country.

Rector Evgeny Kulikov thanked volunteers and presented awards for the contribution to the All-Russian #WeAreTogether campaign aimed at social support of citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents Ekaterina Trifonova and Timur Ibragimov, students of the Biomedicine Department Elina Akhtyamova and Anastasia Zhigalina and student of the General Medicine Department Varvara Bratchikova were awarded at the meeting.

In 2021, medical volunteers conducted more than 500 events in preventive healthcare, provided about 43,000 hours of volunteer assistance and arranged 179 career guidance events for schoolchildren.
