Students and staff of SibMed College represented University at Abilympics Championship

The VII Abilympics Championship for people with disabilities started on April 19. Students and staff of the SibMed Pharma-medical Science College competed in one of the 28 competencies - "Masseur". Prizes in this category are annually distributed among SibMed students.

Graduates and teachers of Pharma-medical Science College specializing in medical massage were included in the expert panel of the championship. International expert Sergey Shtanko was the chief expert in the competency "Masseur" and Anna Dobrynskaya was chosen to be the deputy chief expert. 

"The Abilympics Championship is a chance for students to test their strength and prove that there are no obstacles on the way to perfection in a labor of love. Students strive to become the best in their field. Every year all participants, regardless of the competition results, demonstrate a decent level of training. Participation in the Abilympics Championship for people with disabilities has become traditional for Pharma-medical Science College. Our graduates who once competed here today are very popular specialists and act as experts," said Tamara Gerasina, Head of the SibMed Pharma-medical Science College.

The championship will be held until April 21. Following the results of the regional competition, they will form a team to take part in the All-Russian Abilympics Championship in Moscow. The event has been held in the Tomsk Region since 2016.
