SibMed residents were awarded diplomas

20.06.2022

452 clinical residents successfully completed their studies at SibMed. For the first time since the spread of the coronavirus, this solemn event was held in a face-to-face format. The ceremony was attended not only by the graduates themselves, but also by their parents.

SibMed Rector Evgeny Kulikov presented diplomas to the graduates, congratulated them on the successful completion of their studies and thanked them for their contribution in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

"It is a great honor for me to present diplomas to you today and thank you for the contribution that each of you has made to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. During this difficult period, you were courageous enough to help your senior colleagues in hospitals around the country. Thanks to your support, today we can all meet together and hug each other without hiding smiles behind masks. I wish you not to lose love for the profession that SibMed shared with you," said Evgeny Sergeevich.

Olga Fedorova, SibMed Vice-Rector for Research and Postgraduate Education, also congratulated the graduates on the successful completion of their studies.

"Dear colleagues, remember this wonderful day. It symbolizes the fact that medical education should be lifelong because today you received your second diploma. In addition, you are the first to hold the SibMed graduate badge — wear it as a symbol of belonging to the large community of the medical university," added Olga Fedorova.
