SibMed Admissions Campaign: 100% of state-funded places are occupied

On August 9, the SibMed Admissions Office approved the lists of those enrolled in the main places under admissions quotas. In total, SibMed received over 9,000 applications from various regions of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. The percentage of employer-sponsored admissions amounted to 66%.

The most popular specialties are "General Medicine" and "Pediatrics" (more than 2,400 and 1,500 applications were submitted, respectively). The third place is occupied by "Medical Biochemistry" (over 920 applications). Applicants from Egypt, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Yemen, Uzbekistan and other countries submitted documents for Russian-language programs.

First-year students can get all the necessary information about the upcoming studies in a special group VKontakte.  

In 2022, documents are accepted via the applicant's personal account on the University's website, through the Russian Post offices, as well as in person. The work of the SibMed visiting Admissions Committees in cities of the CIS countries has also been resumed. Representatives of the University organized admission for applicants from eight cities of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. They accepted students' documents and arranged entrance exams. 

Those applicants who have not been enrolled in state-funded places have the opportunity to study at SibMed on a fee-paid basis.
