Russia's leading specialists teach at SibMed

SibMed organizes unique lectures and seminars developed by Russian and foreign medical practitioners. In 2022, about 350 SibMed students attended such classes. Lectures and seminars are conducted using modern teaching methods and innovative approaches to present information. They help specialists to convey their unique experience of professional practical and scientific research activities.

"The SibMed educational strategy is focused on the most effective pedagogical approaches. We transfer unique professional competences to students based on modern achievements of science and education, as well as professional experience. We invite leading specialists in various fields of medicine," said Alexander Miroshnichenko, SibMed Vice-rector for Academic Affairs.

At the SibMed General Medicine Department, Doctor of Medical Sciences Elena Krasnova held a lecture on meningococcal infection for 115 listeners. Professor Elena Krasnova heads the Infectious Diseases Department of Novosibirsk State Medical University and has written more than 200 scientific works. She is also the Chief Specialist in Pediatric Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Health for the Novosibirsk Region.

At the SibMed Pediatrics Department, Doctor of Medical Sciences Andrei Pisklakov held a lecture on pediatric surgery. Andrei Pisklakov heads the Department of Pediatric Surgery and Reproductive Health for Children and Adolescents at Omsk State Medical University. About 145 students joined the online class.

In total, 24 leading Russian and foreign specialists are planned to be involved in the implementation of each SibMed education program.
