SibMed postgraduate students won prizes at the XXIV Congress of Pediatricians of Russia with international participation

The XXIV Congress of Pediatricians of Russia with international participation "Actual problems of pediatrics" devoted to the 150th anniversary of G.N. Speransky has ended. SibMed third-year postgraduate students of "Clinical Medicine" won prizes.

Valeriia Prokopeva and Anna Tarabrina took part in the competition of scientific works of young scientists in the format of poster reports. Valeriia Dmitrievna presented a paper on the topic "Clinical and epidemiological characteristics of food allergy in young children and the role of microbiotic factors in its development" and took second place.

Anna Aleksandrovna took third place for the report "Visceral obesity as a risk factor for the development of bronchial asthma in children".

"The congress was full of interesting symposiums, forums and seminars. Participation in such events provides an opportunity to exchange experiences and gain new knowledge," said Valeriia Prokopeva.

Deputy Governor of the Region for Scientific and Educational Complex and Digital Transformation Liudmila Ogorodova, Vice-rector for Research and Postgraduate Education Olga Fedorova, as well as Mariia Podporina and Iulia Chasovskikh, assistants of the Intermediate-Level Pediatrics Division with a Pediatric Diseases Course of the General Medicine Department also took part in the Congress.
