22 SibMed academic programs obtained accreditation in 2024

21.02.2025

The Master's degree programs "Nursing management" and "Public health (Epidemiology for public health)" received state accreditation. 20 academic programs confirmed their compliance with quality standards through professional-public accreditation.

State accreditation certifies that academic programs meet established quality standards and legal requirements. Diplomas from accredited programs are recognized both nationally and internationally.

Accreditation is extremely important for the University. It enhances society’s and employers' confidence in university diplomas, attracts international applicants, and provides access to additional resources for improving academic programs. This strengthens SibMed's competitiveness and reputation in the market of educational services.

— noted Artem Radzievskii,

Head of the Office for Monitoring the Quality of Education, Licensing and Accreditation at SibMed.

Unlike state accreditation, professional-public accreditation is optional. Its purpose is to verify that graduates' knowledge meets the standards of professional qualifications and the demands of the labor market. SibMed currently has 44 accredited academic programs. This process is organized by the Office for Monitoring the Quality of Education, Licensing and Accreditation.

In 2025, 10 academic programs of SibMed will undergo professional-public accreditation.
