Science and Technology Advisers from EU countries visited SibMed

The delegation of Science and Technology Advisors from the countries of the European Union visited Siberian State Medical University. The delegation members learned about the main directions of the University's development as part of research and educational activities. The Advisors were also informed about the strategic projects that will be implemented at SibMed together with international partners.

There were discussed topical areas of cooperation: joint academic mobility programs for students, teachers and young scientists, international grant activities, joint projects with foreign industrial partners as well as international research.

The delegation included Minister Plenipotentiary, Counselor, Head of the Science and Technology Section at the Delegation of the European Union to the Russian Federation Laurent Bochereau, Counselor for Higher Education and Science at the Embassy of Finland in Moscow Sari Eriksson, Advisor for Innovation, Technology and Science at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Moscow Sibe Noordermeer, Advisor for Higher Education, Science and Technology at the Embassy of France in Moscow Abdo Malak, Executive director at the International Centre for Innovation in Science, Technology and Education (ICISTE) Irina Kuklina.

The meeting with the delegation was attended by SibMed Rector Evgeny Kulikov, Head of the Department of International and Regional Relations of the Administration of the Tomsk Region Alex Stukanov, Deputy Chairman of the International Relations Committee at the Department of International and Regional Relations of the Administration of the Tomsk Region Olga Shulgova, Vice-Rector for Research and Postgraduate Training Olga Fedorova, Associate Professor at the SibMed Pediatric Diseases Division and endocrinologist Daria Podchinenova, Head of the Center for International Development and Partnership Ekaterina Tagina, Head of the Department for International Relations Violetta Galitskaya.
