SibMed presented the practices for the development of international activities at the Week of Medical Education

SibMed experts continue to work at the XIV All-Russian conference with international participation "Week of Medical Education". Ekaterina Pleshkova, Head of the Center for International Development and Partnership, presented the University and its best practices at the round table discussion "Academic and clinical mobility in medical universities today".

As part of the report, Ekaterina Pleshkova spoke about the SibMed tools for the development and support of international cooperation and academic mobility. She presented a systematic approach to the organization of international activities at the University and shared experience in the transformation of processes in the context of today's international relations.

"In 2022, SibMed started cooperating with more than 20 foreign universities, concluded more than 60 agreements within the framework of international educational and scientific activities, as well as practical training abroad, joined 6 international associations," said Ekaterina Pleshkova.

In 2022, SibMed entered top 14 universities in Russia and top 801+ among the world universities in medical sciences, according to THE World University Rankings by Subject. In addition, SibMed is a developing and attractive educational center for foreign applicants. SibMed was accredited by World Federation for Medical Educaion (WFME) and received a special silver certificate from the International University Sports Federation — the FISU Healthy Campus program.
