SibMed moved up the international subject ranking

The Round University Ranking Agency (RUR) published the results of their research in six subject areas. In 2024, Siberian State Medical University was represented in 3 subject areas and 20 specialized fields.

According to the Ranking, SibMed climbed 47 places in "Medical Sciences" and made its debut in "Social Sciences", ranking 516th worldwide and 21st in Russia.

In specialized fields, SibMed improved its position both among universities in the world and in Russia. The University showed the best results in the following narrow subjects: "Multidisciplinary", "Health Professions", "Neuroscience", "Nursing" and "Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmaceutics".

The Ranking assesses the performance of over a thousand top universities worldwide based on 20 indicators grouped into four main categories: Teaching, Research, International Diversity, and Financial Sustainability.
