"PUSK": popular science from SibMed leading experts

SibMed presents a unique opportunity to plunge into the world of modern medical science. On July 6, as part of the PUSK fest, SibMed leading experts will hold popular science lectures devoted to various aspects of medicine.
The University experts will tell about artificial intelligence in medicine, how to maintain dental health, how to eat healthily, what pills are and how they are made. Moreover, participants will learn about modern developments in the diagnosis of eye diseases, as well as about SibMed clinical residency and postgraduate programs.
Here is the schedule of lectures:
- 15:40 — Associate Professor of Human Anatomy Division with Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery Course Anastasiya Konyaeva with a lecture "From fang to heel"
- 16:05 — Head of Digital Medicine and Cyberphysics Center Ivan Tolmachev with a lecture "Medicine in the age of artificial intelligence";
- 16:30 — Head of Ophthalmology Clinic, ophthalmologist Yana Martusevich with a lecture "A look at life";
- 16:55 — Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biotechnology Division Svetlana Kamalova with a lecture "Everything about pills";
- 17:20 — Professor of Pediatrics Division with Endocrinology Course, pediatric endocrinologist Maria Matveeva with a lecture "Biohacking of healthy nutrition"
- 17:45 — Head of Postgraduate Training Department Yulia Timofeeva with a lecture "Clinical residency and postgraduate programs at SibMed".
After the lectures participants will have a unique chance to talk with SibMed Rector Evgeny Kulikov. Everyone will be able to ask their questions. In addition, the deans of SibMed Departments will be present at the meeting.
There will be other interactive platforms for participants. Everyone will be able to get to know the University, medicine, scientific and extracurricular activities — excursions to SibMed museums, workshops, performances and cover bands, games, contests, and much more.
