SibMed opened classrooms for hybrid learning

The hybrid classroom is equipped with special hardware and software programs that allow students to study both in the classroom and remotely. As part of the project "Transformation of medical and pharmaceutical education" of the Priority 2030 program, SibMed opened five classrooms for hybrid learning. The amount of such classrooms can increase in the future.

SibMed is working to create a modern educational environment using hybrid and simulation technologies. The digital educational environment allows teachers to use digital services as effectively as possible and, regardless of external factors, maintain the quality of training at a high level. If the experience of creating hybrid classrooms turns out to be successful, we will equip all lecture halls.

Hybrid classrooms are located in the Biology Building and SibMed Clinics. They are equipped with high-resolution cameras, highly sensitive microphones and computers for processing audio and video streams. Special equipment allows teachers to hold lectures offline and online at the same time and record lectures. In the future, recorded lectures can be uploaded to the SibMed digital educational environment to form a bank of materials that will be available to students 24/7.
