A group of students from the Tashkent Medical Academy recently completed a short-term internship at the Siberian State Medical University as part of the incoming international internship program.
This valuable opportunity allowed the students to develop their professional skills and expand their knowledge in the field of biomedicine. According to Svetlana Gusakova, head of the Division of Biophysics and Functional Diagnostics, this internship was a significant event in the ongoing partnership between the two universities.
She expressed her delight in welcoming the students to the university and highlighted the benefits of the program in introducing them to the university and fostering further collaboration.
The internship program was designed to provide students with hands-on experience in research, under the guidance of experienced teachers and professors. During their week-long stay, the students had the opportunity to participate in lectures, seminars, and scientific projects, as well as visit various divisions and laboratories.
One of the students, Arseniy Mustafayev, shared his positive experience at the university, where they were able to visit labs, divisions, and historical museums. He also praised the university's teaching methods, which encouraged independent learning and provided access to modern equipment. Mustafayev also noted the opportunity to work alongside scientists in the university's laboratories, which allowed students to take their first steps in the field of science.
