Student of SibMed Pediatrics Department completes internship in Brazil

Daria Chernyakhovskaya, student of the Pediatrics Department, is currently completing an internship at the Federal University of Ouro Preto in Brazil. She is working in the surgery department at the university hospital and has also spent few days in the pediatrics department for an introduction.

This internship at the Federal University of Ouro Preto provides a unique opportunity for our students to gain insight into the organization of clinical practice and healthcare in a different country. During her internship, Daria will have the chance to observe the work of Brazilian doctors, participate in rounds and consultations with patients, and complete other tasks under the guidance of experienced mentors. This will allow her to broaden her professional horizons and acquire new skills that will be valuable for her future career. 

The collaboration between our medical universities promotes the exchange of experience and knowledge, ultimately leading to an enhancement in the quality of medical care worldwide.
