SibMed improves its position among top 50 in RUR Rankings

According to an international study by Round University Ranking (RUR), Siberian State Medical University ranks 862nd in the World University Ranking of 2024 and 43rd among Russian universities.

The indicators of Siberian State Medical University have improved significantly in comparison to the previous year. SibMed rose from 964th to 862nd in the World University Ranking, from 49th to 43th in the country one. In addition, SibMed ranked 3rd among Russian medical universities included in the ranking.

A total of 1,168 universities took part in this year's ranking. The ranking included 131 Russian universities. In order to evaluate the activities of leading universities in 89 countries over a 15-year period, the ranking uses 20 indicators covering four areas of activity: teaching, research, international diversity, financial sustainability. This approach makes RUR Rankings an invaluable resource for future students, scientists, university leaders and policy makers seeking to evaluate and compare higher education institutions on a global scale. In addition, there are RUR Subject Rankings that evaluate performance of world’s leading higher education institutions in six subject areas: Humanities, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Social Sciences.
