SibMed and the Association of Students and Student Organizations of Russia signed a cooperation agreement.
The key areas of cooperation include supporting student councils, education quality committees, student research centers and fostering the development of student tourism.
Student self-governance is actively developing at SibMed. Last year we launched a system of self-governing student communities designed to help our students achieve their full potential. Having signed an agreement with the Association of Students and Student Organizations of Russia, we can move on to the next stage — the creation of student councils at SibMed Departments

It is also intended to keep students and student associations informed about each other’s projects, while assisting in the formation and coordination of delegations.
The Association of Students and Student Organizations of Russia is a student movement created in 2014. Their mission is to unite student councils of Russia to create a generation of future professionals and leaders who can care about the future of the whole country.
The collaboration is an initiative under the SibMed Year of Partnerships. The University's Year of Partnerships aims to strengthen collaboration with leading companies and organizations to foster the exchange of knowledge.
