Students from the Biomedicine Department to complete an internship at the Federal University of Ouro Preto in Brazil

Two of our students, German Shestakov and Larisa Tsyngunova, are set to begin their internship at the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP) in Brazil. The program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in research and laboratory work, as well as to foster cultural exchange between the two institutions.

The internship will last for several months, during which time the students will work closely with faculty members and researchers at UFOP. They will be involved in various projects related to their field of study, such as medical statistics and psychophysiology. Additionally, they will have a chance to attend lectures and seminars on topics like public health and environmental science.

Our students greatly appreciate the warm hospitality and support they have received from their Brazilian colleagues. The internship is expected not only to enhance their academic knowledge but also to broaden their cultural horizons, making it a truly enriching experience for all involved.
