The Moscow International University Ranking evaluates institutions according to three key missions: education, science, interaction with society. The ranking is made by the Association of rating makers (ARM), whose members are leading ranking and research centers.
In 2024, the Three University Missions Ranking included 2,000 universities from 112 countries. 152 of them are located in Russia. Russia retains its position in the top three in terms of the number of universities included in the ranking. According to the authors of the ranking, the main competitive advantages of Russian universities are the students' achievements in prestigious international competitions, the demand for Russian education among foreign youth and the high availability of online courses.
