SibMed presented its educational programs to a delegation from the Indonesian Embassy in the Russian Federation

Ekaterina Pleshkova, Head of Department for International Development, participated in a meeting with representatives from the Big Tomsk University and Lyudmila Ogorodova, Deputy Governor of the Tomsk Region for Scientific and Technological Development, as part of the official visit of the Indonesian Embassy delegation.
During the meeting, Tomsk universities presented their research projects and educational programs.
Deputy Chief of Mission of the Republic of Indonesia Mr. Berlian Helmy, emphasized Indonesia's strong interest in establishing ties with the Russian Federation. He also noted the increasing popularity of Russian medical education among Indonesian applicants.
Pleshkova commented, "We are grateful to the Big Tomsk University for a productive meeting where we not only presented our universities' international activities to the Indonesian Embassy representatives, but also effectively discussed important topics such as attracting Indonesian students to SibMed and implementing joint grant activities."
Siberian State Medical University is actively exploring opportunities for international cooperation with universities in Indonesia. In the upcoming year, the university plans to sign cooperation agreements with Indonesian universities and welcome applicants from Indonesia for bilingual programs.
