SibMed presented academic programs to delegation from Indonesian Embassy in Moscow

Ekaterina Pleshkova, Head of the SibMed Department for International Development, took part in a meeting with representatives of United Tomsk University (UTU) and Lyudmila Ogorodova, Deputy Governor of Tomsk Region for Scientific and Technological Development. That was part of the official visit of the delegation from the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow.
During the meeting, Tomsk universities presented their research projects and academic programs tailored to international partnerships.
Berlian Helmy, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow, highlighted Indonesia’s keen interest in building solid relations with the Russian Federation. Moreover, Russian medical education is becoming increasingly popular among Indonesian applicants.

During the event, we had the opportunity to showcase international initiatives of our universities to representatives of the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow. We also discussed important issues—the admission of Indonesian students to SibMed and implementation of joint grant projects

Siberian State Medical University is now exploring the opportunities for developing international cooperation with universities in Indonesia. The University is set to sign cooperation agreements with Indonesian universities in the upcoming year and offer places to Indonesian students in bilingual programs.
