SibMed named one of the best universities in BRICS countries

SibMed entered the top 200 of the pilot ranking of BRICS universities, earning a place in the 176-200 group. The ranking featured 600 universities from 10 member countries.

The ranking was developed by the Association of rating makers (ARM). It is based on the approaches used in the Three University Missions International University Ranking. At the same time, it takes into account the unique national characteristics of the educational systems in member countries. 

The universities were evaluated according to 17 different criteria, including the quality of education, scientific achievements, interaction of the university with society, as well as the number of students' victories at international student competitions. For the first time in the history of academic rankings, a new criterion was introduced — joint publications with researchers from other BRICS countries.

The BRICS educational market is the largest in the world and covers states with a population of about 3.6 billion people.
